Soap root is for soap, food, glue, medicine, poison and used it more. It grows on grasslands the size of it is cluster of leaves 1 foot or more across. It has light green, wavy-edged leaves, linear from one to two feet long. Also the Indians baked the bulb and ate it. They also used soap root for shampoo.
Soap root has blue-green leaves, and they can grow up to 2 feet long. Pomeridianum means opening in the afternoon.
Soap root can stun fish. They are native to western North America, from Oregon,to Baja California, and there mostly found in California. Soap plants are perennial plants, with more or less elongated bulbs, depending on the species. The flowers are borne on a long central stem. The bulbs can be brown and black, and in most species have a fibrous coat.
Soap root can heal if your stomach hurts. It can clean your hands if you do work or hunt. If you hunt deer soap root will clean your hands. You can eat the bulb too. If you roast it then it will taste better.
